History
In 1881, Mohamad Mahmoud El Yaman started the legacy of the traditional Tahini and Halewe. His famous and very tasty sweets made him very well known in Lebanon. Since machines were not available at that time and in the region, all the products he manufactured ranging from Tahini and Halewe to Turkish delights and Carob Molasses were traditionally handmade at that time. In its early beginnings in 1881, M.M EL YAMAN & Co started as a small factory with a limited market share. Slowly but surely, it became one of the most prominent brands in this market.
